State clinical and preceptorship work as supervised learning. Use only the unit, patient population, equipment, and credential language that you can verify and explain.
A five-step guide
Small, focused changes are easier to test.
Lead with your current status
Place your degree, graduation timing, current Texas licence or examination status, and current credentials near the top. Do not label a licence or credential as current before it is.
Treat clinical rotations as real preparation
Name the setting, dates, hours, and supervised responsibilities of relevant ICU or acute-care rotations. Keep the distinction between learning and independent practice clear.
Make the senior practicum legible
If you completed a preceptorship or capstone, identify the setting and your supervised work. Do not inflate a preceptor's scope into your own.
Use transferable evidence
Bring forward assessment, monitoring, documentation, escalation, handoff, collaboration, or patient-family education you can support from clinicals or related healthcare work.
Keep specialty certification exact
Do not list CCRN as current unless you hold it. AACN has a current licence and clinical-practice eligibility pathway for that certification.
Clarity check
Show preparation clearly without presenting it as independent practice.
An inflated claim
“Experienced ICU RN managing all critical-care patients.” It makes a new graduate's status difficult to trust.
A supportable description
“Completed a supervised adult critical-care clinical rotation; documented focused assessments and reported changes in condition through the established student and unit process.” Use only wording that reflects your own experience.

Before you export, check whether a reader can distinguish preparation from practice.
